Hello douiet and welcome to the forum :).

Can you please post the Part Number (P/N) of your system?

It is on the sticker on the bottom, and looks like this:

doiet, can you connect the notebook to a monitor via the VGA out port?

This will show if it is the screen or the system board.

There was an issue with NVIDIA notebooks some time back, but your system is not listed (see the page here)

douiet, was the screen always so?
It may have been the result of someone forcing the connection screen-to-systemboard.

Yes, I opened the laptop and checked the connection. It looks fine. I unpluged the screen cable from the motherboard and then pluged it back and moved it from different places but nothing changed. The screen still behaves the same way. The video in the external monitor is great though.

So it looks like a screen issue.

You can either replace the screen (or the just panel) or leave it connected to the monitor-kind of lame though..

Thanks to every body. I opended the laptop screen cover and I unplugged and then plugged the cable back in from the back side of the screen under the alluminum shield and the green color went away.*ye%
