Hey there Im glad i found this site and hope that somebody can assist me with my problem. I have an ATI Radeon HD R6770 Twin Frozr 2 and my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium. Now heres my issue... I understand that with the new DirectX 11 there is a feature called tessellation which takes textures like cobble stones and adds more polygons which makes them look true 3d as far as i understand...I have downloaded the "Heaven DirectX 11 Benchmark" which clearly demonstrates this to me and i must say i am very impressed, however when i play games such as Battlefield 3(which uses the Frostbite 2 Engine designed to use DirectX 11) i cannot see this...maybe my eye is untrained but i cannot see any tessellation whats so ever. I have tried to update my Direct X but i get told that it doesnt need updating. I have also gone into my control panel and clicked the "Performance Information and Tools" icon and what i see is surprising...it says i am using DirectX 10 yet when i use the search option located in the start menue and type "dxdiag" i am seeing that its DirectX 11...NOW this does not make any sense to me...i suspect that there is a confliction somewhere. Is it possible that another programme is preventing my DirectX 11 from initializing? I have also updated my drivers and still i get the same issue. Please help me...?*?
