I just noticed that my Outlook 2007 pst file is in the old 97-2002 format. I guess that's because it was just copied over when we upgraded several years ago. Is there a fairly easy way to convert it to the newer format? I'm assuming the new format is more reliable, right? Two ways occurred to me: Export everything to the new pst. Create the new pst, make it the default, then import the old one. Is one safer or better? Are there any details I need to make sure to do (or not do) or any caveats?
Is one safer or better? 2007 (and later) support Unicode and are more stable with unreasonable PST file sizes.
As I said on the other thread, I have been traveling for the past 10 days and have not been able to complete the work discussed in this thread.
I understand. You have several threads open that all address the same thing. In order to provide you the in-depth professional guidance that I do provide, I have to review your status and grasp of the principles discussed. Digging through your support history is an unnecessary step. And this thread was abandoned 9 months ago.
Jennifer, You are in no way a burden. Ant's comment, I believe, was intended to relay that multiple threads are not necessary. You will receive best support in a single thread detailing the issue. Is there anything unique to this thread or are you receiving appropriate support elsewhere in the forum?
