    Howdy epackage..

    Is it just cd-roms?
Try click on My computer, and clicking on your cd/rom and see if anything shows up.. It may just be an autoplay problem

    ok lets go this route..

    Right click My computer..
    Click on manage..
The when the new window pops up click on device manager.. Let me know if there is any question marks in the box..

Did you open your computer lately to clean it or anything?

Found the Device Manager, there are no question marks. Under Cd-Rom it just says PIONEER DVD-ROM DVD-114. I am noy very computer savy so I am not sure if i deleted something by mistake or not.

Ok under PIONEER DVD-ROM DVD-114 click uninstall (through your device manager) see screenshot below on how to do this. after that reboot. And let windows pick it up.. It should work if not we can go another route.
Yours will be named as above so never mind what the name is on mine.

Only remove? Hmm.. Did you click the little plus by DVD/CD rom drives? If that is the only option then yes. But if you can find uninstall that would be better. Either way afterwards reboot and it should work as it xcould just be a driver conflict

Edit: If you can click properties on that drive,, Do that then click the tab that says Uninstall like below

I mean if you press the open button on the cd/rom itself will it open?

If not there is a little tiny hole on the left hand side of it..If you can get somthing small enough stick it in that hole and it will reset it.. Dont press to hard though
