I have done a few post before about HD issues, or what I think is HD issues.
Getting an error at boot ("As it says above")
I booted up ok, went to control panel to uninstall a program, windows crashed and when I rebooted, everything ok
5 min later firefox crashed, I rebooted and now this.
This is my 3rd hard drive now that I'm getting this so, How can it be the HD again surely?
What else can cause this?
It's a really nice i7 setup and I'm about ready to put my foot through it.

I haven't tried booting with disc yet, the other times when I did I had to re-install and I don't want to go through all that again, loose 4 weeks installations and studio recordings just to be back here doing this again next week

Any advice please?

Did you encounter a blue screen or did it directly restart?

Screen froze as it was with firefox stuck on it.
I turned the pc off at the back at the PSU, I'm not sure why I did that and when I booted up again, it was fine... I rebooted 2-3 times during the rest of the night and no problems...
It doesn't make sense
