    Yes, the second stick needs to be removed, these are different modules, one 2gb stick made by Micron, and the other 1gb stick made by Samsung. If you remove one of these sticks, test, and see if this resolves your problem?

    so if you dont mind seeing if its the same thing as befor then i'll call toshiba and get my warranty to take care of it

    i have it in the shop now the gpu was overheating and got new speakers on there way i also tryed to get a new screen but there isnt enough dead picels and the heatsink was full of tar


    oh ya what is the error code for my blue screen

    Hi MM,

    I believe the overheating graphics card and the stop errors are separate issues here. GPU temperatures were high, but not high enough to cause problems unless you start to run graphically intensive operations such as gaming. Maximum temperatures of these cards are usually around and often exceed 100°c. The logs are showing temperatures of 76-80°c. Furthermore, GPU overheating problems usually cause very different errors, typically the 0x116 (VIDEO_TDR_ERROR) in Vista or above. The stop errors did not occur whilst performing graphical operations.

    The codes you requested are 0x50 and 0xD1.

    ya i know and im trying to tell them that but they thing its from that im getting new heatsinks they couldnt clean off the tar but im not taking it back till they look at the ram
