My Sister has a Gallexy Androde Phone and she wants to get the Androde Market to get the APPs.

I know it is now Google Playstore so am I right teling her to do this?

Am I right and the file will be .apk

That website looks suspect to me, and your sister will be better off going to the Android Market / Google Play as the file will at least be genuine and malware free...

On there find her specific phone section and go to the android development section and you should be able to find a file called gapps that will install all google apps, including google play store. If you don't see a thread marked as a gapps download just check any of the threads marked [ROM] and at least one of them should also have a download link for them.

I did check the APPs on the phone and did not see Market or Playstore but I will look again.

No she just got it and charged it and is using it?

Thank you for giving me help with Syncing my Sisters Andriod Phone with her G Mail Accout.

Now I do not think I understand how to bring everything back if I need to?

What I meen is this my Sister now has everything backedup from her Phone to her G Mail Account.

Now say she Drops her phone in watter again or it Breaks and she gets a new phone again.

I know she goes to Playstore and Logs In with her Pass and G Mail address.

But this just logs her into the playstore again.

How does she bring back everything that she Synced with her g mail?
