A while ago I found this free music player called Aimp. Obviously they need to work on some lag issues with the 3rd version. It has some false-positives with Comodo (obviously they were fixed by Comodos team.) Features: 18-band Equalizer Supports MP1, MP2, MP3, MPC / MP+, AAC, AC3, Ogg, FLAC,APE, WavPack, Speex, WAV, CDA, WMA, S3M, XM, MOD, IT, MO3, MTM, UMX 32 bit audio process for best quality A feature that allows you to play music until the time you set it to shut down your computer Supports a very large amount of skins Full list of features here. Skins here. I'm sure a lot of people with agree this is the ultimate player. Beats paid players hands down. Edit: Added skins link.
I'm sure you won't be disappointed. It blew me away when I came across it. Probably should have mentioned it earlier. My brother was using some iTune crappy player so I introduced this. There's a lot of cool skins for it. Also good to mention it integrated itself into Windows if you want it to, so it automatically opens up the audio file when you click on it. The look of the files is cool to. It goes into your notifications area of your taskbar when minimized and when you hover over it, it show a compact player.
Probably should have put it in the "Utilities" forum of the "Download" category. This just seems like a good place for people to notice it though.
Much appreciated. Tell me what you think after giving it a try if you get around to it. Hopefully I discovered something that's going to be popular.
I will do that mate. Edit: I have downloaded it and it checks out clean with MalwareBytes Pro and Avast. Looks and sounds pretty good on the Compaq...
I have Avast! Internet Security 7. Also had this with Malwarebytes (but that's when I had AVG Internet Security). Never would recommend a program that has an infection. Plus I'm sure after Comodos Security Team checking it out, it's completely clean. What do you think of it against WinAMP? Never used it before, so I can't make a comparison.
