Weekend Statistics are in.

Bit of a slower week with WCG servers having been down for the big move to better servers but still a fine showing.

Up another spot for Gandalf.

Great work team!

I am in fact, quite cool. My graphing calculator confirms this

Twelve computers.

There's actually a couple more but seems some circumstance or other always has some down.

The Intel Quads are the best though they really crank out the work units (results) at around 30-35 a day each compared to my AMD FX-60 dual core that averages only 8-10 and I'd thought it was actually quite the machine.

Actually my power bill isn't bad (some are on KVM switch so don't even use more than 150watts) but I also don't have all twelve in my home. Regardless in winter with electric heat for backup and electric hot water tank we still only use about $100 month worth of electricity.

I cap my home at six and the rest I built for my kids and/or friends on the condition that BOINC keeps running.

So some get free tech support for running it while others got the computer and free tech support.

Mind you my two Quads do most of the work and they aren't going anywhere.

What can I expect out of my Eight Core beast when I build it if I have BOINC running on it?

Newegg.com - Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 965 Nehalem 3.2GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

Is there a way to allocate more processor use to be funneled to BOINC? Certainly, I won't need all eight cores
