Information: PCHF WCG Team Statistics 1/5/09

First statistics are in for 2009 folks.

Great work team mates.

With our camping benefactors back to their homes we're showing a few doughnuts but we're doing fine.

Congrats to Gandalf who has moved up two spots and Crush who has moved up one.

Speaking on behalf of the team we'd like to extend an invitation for more of you to join us and let's show what PCHF can do.

If we can build a bit of momentum we can consider challenging some other teams and have a little fun.

Yes the base campers trek about and do things like help out with launching new teams and support special events.

It's up to us to carry the ball now.

Nonetheless we've still turned in over a quarter of a million points this past week.

If the "campers" were on loan, are they members of the PCHF Team?
If they are not, shouldn't they be removed from the list?

Also, the Total number is a difference. Da?

Good Point Gandalf and that's something that ultimately is up to us as team mates to decide.

Some teams show anyone who's ever registered with them as a member while others show only active ones.

At one place that I participated we decided to drop off any members that were inactive for a month.

As for the campers once you contribute to a team you have a connection to it in your profile forever and some will pop in now and then to help out so my guess is we shall see some of them again in future.

Complete team statistics are always available at various places on the web and naturally at WCG itself first and foremost.

That said I do think it's a good idea to prune weekly team stats to focus on the active participants but I know from experience views on that will vary.

Consider me totally open to all manner of suggestions that benefit the team.

It's a little difficult to do some things when you are just launching but down the road I would like to see things progress to where we can even have the team members decide on a captain.

I'm simply in that spot currently as I started the team but have always felt it's up to the membership to designate the leader.


Not sure I understood your question regarding the totals Gandalf?

The total column simply shows our improvement since the last stats.

Is that what you meant?

As for Captain, I vote for the Wolf alias LoneWolf.

With my excel skills yer lucky to even get stats.

"Improvement" had too many characters for the column so I went with total and the up arrow.


How about if I change it to "Gain" next week?

I thought the arrow looked cool though. I'll miss it.
