How To Join the PCHF WCG Team!
For those joining WCG for the first time all you need to do is to go to World Community Grid and download the correct software for your system then install it (tutorial below) and you will automatically become a PC Help Forum Team member.
It's as simple as that.

If you are already a member of WCG and simply want to join our team all you need to do is go here and click on the "Join Now" button.
"How to install World Community Grid/BOINC software on your PC!"
Log on to your PC using an account with administrator privileges.
The download page is set to give you a Windows version so if you require something other than that select it using the link provided as shown below.
1. Go to the location where you downloaded the BOINC Windows Installer it will be named something like: boinc_####_windows_intelx86.exe.
2. Double-click to run the installer, and follow the prompts that appear.
Click “Next”
Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click "Next"
Click “Advanced”
Click “Next”
Click “Install”
Click “Finish”
Enter your World Community Grid Username and Password then click “Next”
You should now be done and your BOINC is running. Click “Finish”
You will now see the WCG icon in your system tray and if you “Right Click” the icon you can choose to open the BOINC manager.
There you can see various information such as your work unit progress and you can customize settings if necessary.
In most cases default settings are fine.
