Hi,
My mother-in-law has HughesNet internet. We live about 200ft. from her. She told me that I can share her internet signal. I bought a Belkin wireless N router and connected to her computer,it made her HughesNet internet wireless. My desktop(Vista)is not equipped to pick up wireless signals,so I bought a Belkin wireless N USB adapter for my computer. It tells me that i am connected to the router by it wont connect to the internet. I get one bar on the adapter. Someone told me that I need to get a Desktop card(PCI Card). I also brought my father-in-law's laptop computer to my house and it connected to the HughesNet internet from their house. That laptop is equipped with a Broadcom 802.11b/g network card. What do I need to make my desktop connect to that signal like that laptop did?
