I have a Zoom X6 ADSL wireless modem in a Dell Vostro laptop connected to AT&T DSL. It also serves a Lenovo tablet computer which has no problem. But with the Dell lately the computer isn't finding the internet connection and if I click on "Repair" it says it can't repair it. Sometimes when it does connect, if you switch users the connection is lost. The only changes I have made recently after it was working fine for 6 months were adding Avast and Malwarebytes virus scanners. I had Windows Defender on it and took it off, but that hasn't fixed it either. Any ideas? Thanx.

I have use of an internet connection that uses the Zoom x6 modem in my workplace, this has a habit of refusing to connect from time to time, or disconnects at the most inappropriate moment.
I've found that simply turning it off for a minute or two and then rebooting the ****** thing usually fixes it.

The Dell doesn't detect the wireless network at all sometimes?

Or does it detect it but even when connected has no internet?
