Hi guys, new to the wireless control system, been on the cisco web site they dont really tell you how to use it etc just like to hear some peoples point of views on it.
i understand it controls mobility, rf management, intrusion detection, QoS and user policies (connection management)
so questions...
Light weight access points.. are they any access point you can find and connect then they are stripped of their regular firmware or are they purpose built access points built for the wireless controllers?
Light weight access point protocol.. what does it do?
Wireless controller.... easy to use and manage? does it make network fault finding easier? does it act as a DHCP server?
wirelees control system... is this just software installed on a server which the server is connected to the WC then interfaced that way?
Thanks guys, any help is great
Kind regards
Dean Maiden
