I just installed a copy of XP x64 from x32. When I try to connect to my wireless network nothing happens, it just tries to connect and nothing else.
I'm sure my wireless card is compatible with x64 operating systems, I made sure before I installed it
But I'm on Virgin Broadband so in order to get online I have to install their wireless set-up software first which requires me to input the network password before I'm allowed to connect.
And that's my problem; the Virgin set-up software isn't x64 compatible! The card picks up other wireless networks so I assume it's running fine, but I need the Virgin software to input the network password.
So does anyone know if I can bypass this or if there's a way to get x64 Virgin broadband installation software? It's really annoying that they didn't take x64 users into consideration!
Thanks
