@ All, I believe that JM may have a malware issue, please refrain from posting on this thread until it has been determined by a Security Team member the the PC is clean.

@ JMc, I am sorry, but I do believe that you have been infected. You do not need to uninstall Norton, if you are running AVG Anti-spyware, without thier Anti-virus shield. It is only a problem if you are running two Anti-Virus programs.

The fact that you are able to reach some sites and not others indicates that you do not have a problem with your connection, but that something is keeping your from connecting to certain sites.

Before I proceed, if you are running both AVG's Anti-virus, as well as Norton, this will cause conflicts, and could potentially seriously damage your computer. Can you please verify what version of AVG, and what shields of AVG you are running?

Then we can decide how best to go forward.
