Hey Guys,

@Asho, my welcome to PCHF as well. Can you please post the specs on the wireless card? Also, is there a control panel for the wireless card on the laptop?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Hi I will find out what are the specs on the card by but yes there is controle panel and I can access it and it says wireless card is of and if I try to turn it on it says the changes will take effect once the power button is turned on which I can not since it is broken. I was wonder if there is a way to supply power directly to the card or to override the non functional power button.
Thanks for the reply

From the sound of this you will have to take it to a computer repairer and get the button fixed by them. Laptops are very hard to repair at home.

If it's still under warranty from Sony, take it to a authorized repairer for repair...
