Default connection to the router problem

i cant connect to the router ZyXEL.
It first acquiring network address and after that it says "limited or not connectivity. I also try put up manual ip addres, i put 192.168.1.2 ip becouse 192.168.1.1 is ip from router and after that it does not show message "limited or not connectivity" but it cant open address in internet explorer v.6 only can open 192.168.1.1.

after i open that address and logg in it shows me details:

go in to the Start Menu. Go to Run. Type cmd. This will bring up the command prompt. Type in ipconfig /all and tell me what pops up. Alternatively, are you sure you have the WEP key correct, if you're using a secured connection

The router is definetly on. Are you sure your WEP Key is correct?

Autoconfiguration IP Address:169.254.122.54
The problem is that Windows is giving you a default (non-connected) IP address because your PC cannot connect to the router.

when you go in to set up a new connection/router it will ask you to secure your connection so people can't pirate it. Usually this is a 26 digit hexadecimal string of numbers (the default WEP key is 26 zeros) or a 12-16 digit alphanumeric key. But since it seems like you didn't set one up my guess is it would be the 26 zeros.

Are you using Windows to manage your connection or a third party system?
