Default Wireless Adapter Problems

I used to have A D-Link wireless adapter, and never had this problem, but when It broke and I bought this other brand, they started.

Anyways, It's a "Retail plus" wireless adapter, and whenever I go into certain games, it will disconnect at random times. This only happens in certain games, and never disconnects when I'm doing anything else.

I've tried puttign it in all the different ports, but they all seem to make it worse if anything. And I'm pretty sure it is not the firewall.

It uses some thing called ZDWLan configuration tool plus.
If that helps.

Hi worksa7,

Have you tried uninstalling the ZWDLan config tool and using the Windows Wireless Zero Configuration instead. If not try that - it may be the connection software that is causing the problem.

Thank you for the replies.

Anyways, I actually tried to uninstall it before I came here. I've tried almost everything I knew, but still no go.
When I uninstall it, the the computer no loinger recognises the adapter, and will act as if there is nothing even there.

Okay, this is a bit more urgent now. It has recently disconnected, and I can no longer re-connect. It isn't even detecting the network anymore x_X
