Have you tried changing the usb port it's connected to?

Do the lights on the wireless adapter light up?

Does the wireless adapter show in control panel? If so have you tried uninstalling the drivers then uninstalling the adapter?

Yes
Yes
And I actually did that on my own before you posted surprisingly enough, I didn't even expect it to help But it did, and that fixed my problem with it not working anymore at all. But I still get diconnected in games and such.

The problem still persists.
I know the old adapter worked fine, but this one uses this ZD driver, when the other one didn't...

Hi Worksa7,

Sorry I haven't online for a couple of days. Have you tried Disabling Auto Select Profiles on the WDZlan software? If not try that. That should stop the adapter for scanning for new wireless networks and trying to connect to them which could be the cause of your problems.

It should also be possible to just install the drivers without the software. Completely uninstall everything for the wireless adapter. On the driver cd that came with it - click go to the drivers folder and the locate driver for your operating system. Right click the .inf file and click install.

After you have done this - Click Start > Run > type: services.msc > Click OK
Scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration and set it to Automatic. Reboot PC and see if you can use windows the Windows WZC to connect. If you still get the disconnects then you may want to consider returning the wireless adapter and getting another one.
