Question Advice on Setting Up Secure WiFi at Home?

Hi.

I recently bought a Netgear WGR614 router which works fine when its open. When I go to the defualt s gateway page (i think thats what it's called?) and set up a WPA key it locks me out of the net? My laptop can see the signal but won't connect.

I just wanna set up a secure network!

Any help pls? Or if anyone knows of a good online guide?

Thnx

Hi Campbell.

After setting your WPA network key on the router setup (default gateway page) have you tried disabling the connection and reconnecting, so that is asks you for the key?

What operating system are you using? - just to make things a little easier should you need more advice.

Nick.
