Anyways:
We recently set up a network in our new house, there are four of us all on the wireless, plus three consoles connecting through ethernet.
Of the four computers:
1 is XP, using a wireless-g adapter
1 is Vista using a wireless-g adapter
2 are Vista using wireless-n adapters
The router we are using is a WAG160N (firmware V1.00.09).
We started noticing a problem a few days after setting up. The vista machines would never be able to reconnect after disconnecting. The router had to be power cycled in every case. Turned out it was something to do with DHCP broadcast flags that vista uses. After tinkering with the registry a little, i got everyone's PCs connecting perfectly.
The only problem is, now nobody's PCs can see each other. Clicking on the "network" item in the start menu returns a list consisting of the computer you're doing it on, and the router. I should stress that we could all see each other before i did the DhcpToggleEnableBroadcastFlag fix.
While being fairly competent when in comes to technology, i'm literally clueless when it comes to wireless networking. Hence why i'm now here

So, any ideas? Is there any more information that you guys need?
Thanks in advance!
