Default Can't Connect to Wireless Options

I'm trying to open my ports, but I can't get to my router's configuration page. I know I have the correct IP (192.168.0.1, I got it using ipconfig/all on cmd), but every time I enter it into the address bar, it says..

"Access Error: Page not found
when trying to obtain /

Page Not Found"

I tried deleting the "/" and going on a different computer. It still won't bring up the page.

I'm using Vista, and my router is a Motorola SBG1000.

Help is appreciated! I hope it's not a silly problem.

Default Re: Can't Connect to Wireless Options

Hi Lmsgg - Welcome to PCHF!!

According to the manual for your router - to access the config page you need to type: 192.168.100.1

Try that - also if your trying to connect to the config page wirelessly - try using ethernet cable instead. If it still won't connect - please do ipconfig /all and paste the results into your next post.

Default Re: Can't Connect to Wireless Options

It should be the Default Gateway which you need to type in, not your IP Address.

i.e.
My IP is 192.168.1.100
Default Gateway is 192.168.1.1

If I type the IP in the browser I get the same error. Try using your Default Gateway.
