Default setting up wireless usb adapter

Hi guys can anyone help? i installed a tiscali router to my pc at home which runs off vista,i then wanted to connect my pc upstairs which runs off windows xp home edition,so i downloaded a driver for my zyxel g-202 usb adapter and tried to install it,but when i got to the part where i have to put my network key in it asked for my WEP KEY but my code is a WPA KEY and it wont accept it and i cant see how i can change the option so it asks for my WPA key only any ideas please

Do you have at least Service Pack 2 on that XP PC?
Try the latest driver for your adapter: ZyXEL

not sure on the service pack mate but tried the latest driver from zyxel website and an old driver from them.

You can check your service pack level by going to Start > run and typing in winver [enter]

sorry for late reply the wife tells me when she did start>run winver it came back with version 5.1 mate. my works pc in brackets after 5.1 mentions service pack 2,but home pc doesn't matey!!

In that case, I suggest you upgrade to SP2 (at least)...or SP3 if you're brave
