Default Linksys Router problem.

Hi i have a linksys wag54gs wireless router.
it has ben working fin.
I have just re-installed windows xp pro to my main pc which attaches to the router with a cable.
i ran the set up disk and it can find the router!
I rang linksys up and after a lot of messing around they said it was i didn't have a LAN connection in my Network Connections folder!
the Other pcs in the house that are using the wireless are fine.
i installed the software for my old bt modem and that works fine also.
I have even re-re-installed windows but no luck.
Any ideas

Hello Tomario,

Did you reinstall your drivers for your pc? it sounds like you do not have the network drivers installed.

The first thing to do is to look in your BIOS to see if you can turn off this virus check, it could be false so we need to rule that out first...
