Hi norris7850 - Welcome to PCHF!!

Sorry for the delay in getting to your post.

If its just the wireless thats not working intermittently the try the following:

I recommend that you connect to the router by ethernet cable to do this. Access the Router Setup from your web browser. To do this type: 192.168.0.1
Enter username: admin - the password will be blank unless you set one up.
Click Wireless Setup > Manual Wireless Connection Setup
In the Wireless Network Settings section:
If the SSID is still dlink - change it something else e.g. norrishome
Change the channel to channel 1 for example. (the problems you have been experiencing can be caused by interference from another wireless network running on the same channel)
Leave transmission rate as it is.
Leave wireless security mode unless it currently has Disable Wireless Security - if this is the case - i recommend using WPA2.
Click Save settings.

You will need to re-setup the wireless connection on your pc.

If you are still experiencing problems try changing the channel to 10 or 12. Portable phones, microwaves and some other electrical equipment can interfere with the signal. How far away is the wireless router from the pc. Try putting the router up as high as you can off the ground, this can also help the signal.
