I have had my wireless router set up for about 3-4 months now but I still can't connect to certain websites like Facebook, Asda.com (walmart to those of you across the pond).

Is there a setting I've missed somewhere during the set up?

I have a Safecom SWVR 5400 router. I know it's not the best but does the job (well, most of the time!).

Any ideas?

have you tried resetting your router? some sites might be blocked by the firewall.

reset as in unplug it? yeah. many times. i've looked in the firewall settings and i can't see anything to say its blocking owt.

Have you tried connecting the laptop to the router with a cable? Do you still have the same problem when using a cable?
