Default Wireless Router Compatibility with Mac?

I was interested in getting a new MacBook (likely this one Newegg.com - Apple MacBook MB402LL/A Intel Core 2 Duo 2.10GHz 13.3" WXGA 1GB DDR2 667 120GB 5400rpm DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Intel GMA X3100 Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard - Apple Laptops), and I was wondering if I was going to need to buy anything extra for wireless internet. I currently have a 2Wire 1800HG router.

Hello PrShack and a big PC Help Forum Welcome!

Assuming the Laptop has wireless onboard and configured correctly then it should work with no problem. Wireless standards are pretty much the same across platforms.

It's the exact MacBook I have. It works fine with most wireless networks I come across, and has AirPort built in so you don't need any external hardware or third party software.

However, as I've just had a problem, I'm holding back on my full approval... I think it's a router issue though.
