Smile [Resolved] Wireless Problem

I having problems connecting to my wireless router. I have re-installed the Windows XP on my laptop. Im trying to connect to router & its not working. The wireless connection is stoping at "Acquiring network address". Im using the repair option. Im just wondering how long does it take to renew the IP address.
