Question [Answered]WiFi question

I have a Compaq Presario 1800T
CPU= Mobile Intel PentiumIIIE 650MHz (6.5 x 100)
System Memory= 320mb (SDRam)
Windows XP home edition SP2

This computer does not have a built in WiFi card

What would be the best card for this computer....?
I wanted to use it on the road so I need a card that gets excellent signal
and obviously something thats compatible with my current setup

Thanks!

Default Re: WiFi question

Hi again
From what I know the card doesn't matter if there is no signal to be found, I think AT&T makes one that taps into their signal but I'm not sure. I use a Cisco Air-PCM350 series wireless card for my laptop and it doesn't fail me at Hotels or College, it also picks up my neighbors' signals but they all have security keys (doesn't matter though since my house is wifi...)

Not as far as I know, the card I have has been run on a 133mhz laptop with 48mb ram.
