Hey i have been using a Linksys 2.4ghz 802.11g card works fine apart from i do not get a very good signal.I was wondering if it would be worth getting a larger antenna or a cable to extend my antenna.

But if i do either of these i don't know if there are sizes or are they all the same?

and finally if i got a 4-5m cable would it affect the speed of my Internet even if i got a perfect signal?

You have told us what network card you have. What wireless router are you using?

Ethernet cable..from your PC to the router? Should be fine...you wouldn't notice any slow down.

i don't mean an Ethernet cable (which i cant have) i mean havening a longer antenna by basically using an extension cable so i can move it around my room to find the best reception.
