Access Violation at address 004A4DC3 in module 'WUSB54GSv2.exe'
Read of address 00000000."

What does this mean?

Good idea as to see that many people have the same problem!! very frustrating to say the least

here's the solution:

Go to "start", click on "programs" and go to the "Linksys Wireless-G USB Adapter" and click on "uninstall".Insert the disk and then restart the computer.Once you get the " Welcome to the found new H/W wizard" you need to select " Install the s/w automatically" and that will install the drivers for you.

Once the drivers are installed try to connect to the network and check the connection

If other than XP, try a different USB port and uninstall the existing drivers and install the latest drivers from the website.
