Default XP-Vista Wireless Network Help

Hi,

On my PC running Vista Home Premium, on the Network Screen I can see my laptop, which is running XP, but when I try and access it it makes me input a password.

I have tried entering the laptop's admin account details, localadmin account details, and even created a new user on there with the same login details as my PC, but nothing is working.

On my PC, I have turned off password protected file sharing, so on my laptop in Network Places I can access the PC completely.

What I want to do is turn password protected sharing off on the laptop, so I can access it properly from my PC.

Thanks for any help.

-_-...I'm having the same problem!

I just got ti all connected, but my problem is I think I did put on a password and Username...but I need to know how do i check it? like i've forgotten it and should there be a way for me to see it on my Main Pc? (the XP) Cause on Vista it asks for a Username & Pass, just like RollsRhys. .....Rolls, how'd you check to see that you network wasn't passworded? Did you goto your Router's Login page? like through a Browser? Or did you see it somewhere in "My Computer" ?
