i have a pc downstairs with eircom wireless broadband available throughout my house

i am getting a computer for myself in my room

and i need a way to use the wireless broadband on it

would i need to buy something? or is there something i could download to be able to use the internet in my computer upstairs without having any wires laeding up to my room?

i am not good with computers at all

so i would appreciate some help
