hey everyone, I'm new here so i'm sorry if you guys have already went over this in previous threads. I have a gateway notebook 6010GZ and a couple days ago my girlfriend was online and all of a sudden the wireless lost connection. I thought that it was just the router acting up again so I unplugged the modem and the router and let them sit for a lil bit, then plugged everything back in. Still nothing. The weird thing is that out Wii and my psp can still connect with no problem. I was looking around and did this winsockfix program I found and people had said that it fixed there problem. Still nothing. I also futz with some stuff on the router settings, but, I'm not an expert at computers so I got confused. I'm wondering if anyone can help an ill experinced person.
If it helps I have a netgear WGR614 v5 router and I have cable internet. Thank you all.

You could try taking out the powercable from the router for a few seconds and then plugg it in again. This will reset the router and often works...
