Default contacting router

Hmm...my first thread on the new site

I'm trying to go to the webUI of my router D-Link DI-524 with ipadress: 192.168.0.1
Before today i've done this several times so it has to work. When I now enter the ipadress the only thing i get is the word busy, in the leftuppercorner of the webpage. The rest of the page is empty white.
Why is my router acting like this? I've tried it several times throughout the day so it isn't just one moment where this happens.
How can i get to the webUI?

Robin

Hello RobMan,

I know this may sound silly but try clearing you browser cache. Sometimes the browser index will get corrupted and cause pages to hang. I know it is a long shot...

D-link has web-based config tool for this model... maybe it will help.

Hi Can you ping it from the command prompt type "ping 192.168.0.1" press enter do you get a reply from it. If it is not setup it may be worth resetting via the reset button and trying to get it in you browser again

Hi!

know this may sound silly but try clearing you browser cache. Sometimes the browser index will get corrupted and cause pages to hang.
Assuming that with brower cache you mean cookies and temp. internet files...yes I did but I also reset the router
If it is not setup it may be worth resetting via the reset button and trying to get it in you browser again
and one of them worked

Thanks!

Robin

btw:can be marked as answered!
