Hi there, im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you have unfortunatly bought the wrong type of router for your connection. You need a Cable broadband Router, for NTL, but you have mistakenly bought an ADSL Router.

Hi there Lowery,

A simple router without an ADSL modem will be fine to connect to the cable modem.

With a cable connection, you're looking for something like this;

Linksys.com - Products/Wireless/Basic Networking/Broadband Routers/Wireless-G/WRT54G
