From your web browser navigate to the login page of the router - within those pages you will have the wireless setup details - that's what we need to move this forward.

ok... she gives up (not me).... She would rather use a long cable than get it sorted grrr.

What you need to do is when you get beyond the loginscreen of the router, is to search for something, like etoad said, called 'wireless setup' or 'setup page'.
Once you found a wizard you should follow it as it guides you through the settings. Let know where you get stuck!
