Arrow [Pending] Wireless Help
Hi, today after I finished downloading a movie by using BT with my new build, the connection has limited or no connectivity. I'm using a WMP300N to match my Linksys WRT300N router. I don't want to waste anytime so I formatted my computer to see if there is something wrong inside my computer or softwares. But this issue still exists and I can't connect with the WRT300N. I can connect the my neighbor's router but not my sister's router. This is a house to house wireless connection. I also have a laptop which can connect through the same router without any problems. Is it my desktop's hardware problem or the connection?

Are you getting an IP of 169.254.xxx.xxx? I would power cycle the router as a first action and see if that resolves it. I have seen this resolve this type of problem even when you get a valid IP address. You might also want to clear the dns cache on your PC. Go to a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. Reboot and see what happens!
