Question [Answered] Wireless Network for PC and laptop

Hi all. I need help setting up a wireless network for a co-workers church. The pastor wants to be able to access the church computer from his laptop when he's away from the church using a wireless connection. Both pc's have Windows XP Home and use a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router. It sounds like he needs a VPN set-up but I have no idea how to set it up for him. Thanks for your help.

Did you mean Windows XP Pro? They already have Windows XP Home. The link for Linksys seems to have expired. Thanks.

I didn't know the links expired there any way is you go here Linksys.com - Support / Technical Support and click ask linksys then put in you model number and click ask if will have a list of common question and also a place to type in a question type in there VPN it will give you full instructions on how to do it.

Hey PCjazz28...

You will need a spare box and some time... You could try to set up OpenVPN for your VPN solution...

Hope this information helps .

Thanks Spaceman3750 for your response. If I can procur a spare box, I'll give OpenVPN a shot.
