We have had similar problems here, unfortunately it was my dad that fixed it since i wasnt home so i dont know what he did, but normally when you install a printer it (for some strange reason) creates more than one in the printers section, so i would first recommend trying to share a different one of those printers, if that doesnt work, then see if your install disk has a network install option, for using on the pc that is connecting through the network, if it does use this, actually try the CD install first
and with the printer install try installing it and if it gets to the installation without asking where you would like the printer to be connected from, then it doesnt have the networking install
EDIT: you could also try updated drivers for the wireless software, but in situations like this, its normally the printer drivers, sppeaking of which try to get updated printer drivers as well
those drivers may be found here and just get the drivers, dont touch the firmware:
