Default [Resolved] Wireless Interference

Whenever I use my laptop at my mom's, if the phone rings, the connection is lost. The connection has only ever been lost when the phone rings from an incoming call, and never any other time, including with outgoing calls. I am using an ASUS WL-107G IEEE802.11g Wireless Cardbus Adapter and don't know how to chenge the frequency to prevent this.

Heya,

You need to access the router and change the frequency from there, the card will automatically agjust to match the router's set frequency

The thing is, we have two Macs connected to the router wirelessly, and neither of them lose the signal when the phone rings. Hmm.

Now the macs are losing their signals and every couple days the Router goes back to Channel 1 and turns off its Interference Robustness. We're now searching for a frequency switch on the phones.

You have got filter(s) on the line(s) that the router plugs in to?

I meant to mark this as resolved... we switched the phone frequency.
