Done that. The same thing happens no matter what router I use. I bought a new one and theres no connection on that and I borrowed a friends which was working literally minutes before but not at our house. She took it back to her house and it worked fine again.

ok, could you do this and see if you get any results:

Click On Start
Click Run
In the open box type "cmd" (without quotes) and press enter
type ping>192.168.1.1 and press enter (the > is used to represent a space, do not type the >. Use a space instead)

and see what results you get.

It sounds to me like there's something wrong with the settings on your PC...I'm not sure but can't you just try Systemrecovery? Go to a date before the problem occured and you might have the good settings again. Again, I'm not sure so if anyone could agree or disagree with it in a post?

Is your Network card picking up an IP address automatically eg. 192.168.1.2?
