Default [Resolved] Router

Hi Guys,
my daughter wants to make her laptop wireless, at present the net connection is as follows, wireless conection via antena, the cable from the Antenna goes into something which I can only find info on that tells me it is a Broadband Wireless IP Local Loop, out of that a cable goes into a Netgear cable/dsl router, out of the router a cable connects into here laptop.

She has purchased a D-Link DI-524 AirPlus G wireless router and a D-Link Airplus G USB wireless adapter.

Can I connect the wireless router to the Netgear router and carry out installation of every thing.
Also rather than lug myself out to the daughters place could I set up her wireless router at my place etc my broadband is a ( telephone line ) modem to a router ( same as daughters) then cable from router to my comp. IE: I bring her comp, the wireless router and usb adapter to my joint and just plug into my router and set up from here, then take it back to her place and hopefully plug back into her Netgear router.

I am not overly conversant with all of this bit still reading the D-Link site for support.

Thankyou
