Exclamation [Resolved] No wireless found

I have had to reinstall my windows due to a problem with my hard drive. I have reinstalled everything thing but having a problem with my wireless connection.
I have pro wireless installed on my lap top and have checked that it is enabled, it is.
I have a D Link DSL-G604T wireless router. I have set up the configurations etc, but when looking for available networks it cannot find my D Link, to get on the internet at the moment im using the ethernet port.
I have also put the Dlink in manually to try and connect but still not finding the d link, Must be doing something wrong, hope someone can help??????????

Hello donnatil,

Are you using any security on the router itself? Access your router page, normally using Internet Exploror, address is normally 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.2. Make sure your SSID is not hidden.

What do you mean by router access?

- Make sure you are using the correct driver.
- Make sure that there are no devices waiting to be installed in Device Manager (Control Panel, System, Hardware tab, Device Manager), and no devices have an question or exclaimation mark attached to them.
- If your wireless device is correctly installed, you will see it in Control Panel, Network Connections.
- Try to connect to another wireless device, maybe take your laptop to a friends to make sure that the wireless on the laptop is working properly.
