Did everything look OK with the driver? What wireless networking device are you using, and what make and model PC do you have?

Hi Don, I am confused, how did you manage to test it?

If you can setup a new wireless connection from another PC to that router without any problems, and you have tested connectivity with another device from your laptop, there is absolutely no reason why you wouldn't be able to see your router also from the Wireless Network Connection window. Have you reset you router since re-installing Windows?

All im getting is: when you search for all available wireless networks im getting lots of wireless networks except my own, but my other pc is on the d link wireless networkand connection is good..
The preinstalled wireless is working on this laptop so i dont need to use a USB to get wireless, Hope this is making sense, The only thing i can think of is the D Link is not working on this laptop for some strange reason, although it did before i had to renew windows, i have not reset the D link router incase i lost it on the other pc. hope this makes sense, I know what i mean but its difficult to write it down
