Before anyone can help you, you need to enter the following information:

1. Make and model of the Router.
2. Operating System of the Laptop computer. ( XP Pro? Vista Home Premium? )
3. Operating System of the Desktop computer. ( XP Pro? Vista Home Premium? )

Any information about Video card, Sound card, motherboard, and Hard Drive free space would be useful. If you do not know this information, click on What's inside your PC? and download the free Auditor. This will provide you with all the specifics about your computer.
