Default Router Login - Via Wireless

I have the Actiontec M1424WR wireless router. My laptop is connected via wireless, and i have 2 PCs connected via ethernet. I can access the router from the PCs, but for what I suppose are security reasons, not the laptop connecte via wireless. Is there any way to enable wireless users to access the router? Thanks a lot. ---Tim

I open my browser, type in 192.168.1.1 and instead of opening the login page, it gives me the "problem loading page / unable to connect" page we see so often when our connections are down.

you have to go to the network & sharing center, select the name of your router, and hit connect. it should connect automatically unless you've encrypted it.

Hi and welcome to PCHF thisistim!

@Foreverlaur : Maybe you didnt understand it correctly. This is accessing the router setup site.

There is a simple answer for this NO. This is not possible on wireless, as you suggested manufacturers do it for security reasons. You will have to use a wired connection.

Chris
