I am thinking of replacing one of my cable modems with a wireless modem to reduce my cable bill. I would put the wireless modem on the third floor where my wife's office is, and replace the cable modem on my desktop (2nd floor) with a wireless card for my desktop. I am looking for recommendations for hardware that can provide the highest connection speeds. Beyond that, this seems simple to install and configure. I consider myself an advanced user.
