Angry [Resolved] Cant assign an IP Address using DCHP
Hi people, im having trouble getting my network card to obtain an IP address automatically via DCHP. I get an Automatic Private Address in the 169.254.xxx.xxx range. I'm working by using a static network IP addy at the mo but would like to sort this problem out. I have tried:

Repairing the connection (several times)
Restarting my PC
physically re setting the router (normal reset & factory reset)

My mum has a laptop, but this hasnt got any problem what so ever.

Any suggestions on what i can do to solve the problem?

Dont worry i fixed it....... my firewall was blocking it for some reason.
